Do I need vaginal tightening if I’ve never had children?

Vaginal tightening is not routinely recommended for women who have never had children, unless there are symptoms of laxity, discomfort, or pelvic floor issues. Vaginal tone varies naturally and is not only related to childbirth.

Clinical Context

If you have symptoms, a pelvic health assessment can determine the cause and best treatment. Most women without children do not need surgical tightening.

Evidence-Based Approaches

Treatment is tailored to symptoms, not childbirth history alone. Start with non-surgical options and seek professional advice. RCOG: Pelvic floor advice.
