Today we supported our friends at Sling the Mesh and visit the House of Lords on the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage. Sling the Mesh are a group of over 5000 women who successfully called for the government to suspend the use of mesh implants to treat prolapse and stress urinary incontinence (SUI) symptoms.
The Women’s Health Clinic believes that overall patients should be given a choice of treatments, which is why our nurses were more than happy to join the protestors and offer a new health guidance leaflet which aims to highlight more information on women’s health conditions.
