Bleeding after menopause can have several possible causes, many of which are not serious, but it still needs clinical assessment. Contact your GP even if the bleeding happened once, was light or appeared as pink or brown discharge.
While waiting, note when it happened, the amount and colour, pain, discharge, medicines and whether you use HRT. Keep referral details and ask who to contact if the pattern changes.
