Hormonal changes can contribute to genuine symptoms, but the word “hormonal” should not replace a full clinical picture. Symptoms may overlap with other conditions, and their meaning can change when the pattern, severity or impact changes.
Record when symptoms began, what is new, what makes them better or worse, medicines, cycle changes and any previous results. Ask what supports the current explanation, what alternatives were considered and what should prompt review.
Reassessment does not mean a serious condition is expected. It means persistent, worsening or changing symptoms are considered in their current context rather than being left under an earlier label.
