Well Woman Check – Blood Test (pathway 2)

Empower Your Health with Confidence

Take control of your wellbeing with our best-selling Well Woman blood test—designed specifically for women at any stage of life. Whether you’re experiencing symptoms, investigating health concerns, or simply taking a proactive approach, this comprehensive check offers valuable insights into your body’s key health markers.

  • Vitamin D – to assess for deficiency, which can contribute to fatigue, low mood, and bone health concerns.
  • Ferritin – a marker of iron stores in the body; low levels can cause fatigue, hair thinning, and poor concentration.
  • Thyroid screen (TSH, T4) – to check thyroid function, as an underactive or overactive thyroid can mimic menopausal symptoms.
  • Estradiol (E2) – your main form of oestrogen; low levels are associated with perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
  • LH (Luteinising Hormone) – helps indicate where you are in your menstrual cycle and can support a diagnosis of menopause.
  • FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) – typically rises as you approach menopause and is used to assess ovarian reserve.
  • AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) – provides insight into your remaining egg supply and ovarian function, especially useful if under 40.
  • Progesterone – measured to assess whether you are ovulating, usually taken at a specific point in your cycle.
  • Vitamin B12 – low levels can affect mood, energy, memory, and nerve function.
  • Testosterone – an important female hormone that may affect libido, energy, mood, and muscle strength.

It is important that these tests are done between day 2–5 of your cycle, ideally in the morning.

These results will help guide your treatment plan and ensure we’re addressing the full picture of your health.

Pre menopause Consultation Blood Tests (Pathway 4)

Personalised Support for Your Menopause Journey

Your symptoms are consistent with perimenopause or menopause, and it sounds like you would truly benefit from a dedicated menopause consultation with one of our specialist nurses.

Since you are already using Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), it’s important that we assess how well your body is absorbing the treatment and whether your current dose is optimal for symptom relief and long-term health. To ensure we tailor your care effectively, we recommend having a blood test prior to your consultation. This test will help us evaluate your hormone levels and guide any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.

What’s Next?

  • Step 1: Book your blood test
  • Step 2: Attend your menopause consultation with results in hand
  • Step 3: Receive expert advice and a personalised care plan

Your wellbeing matters—let’s work together to make this stage of life more manageable and balanced.

The blood test will include:

  • Vitamin D – to assess for deficiency, which can contribute to fatigue, low mood, and bone health concerns.
  • Ferritin – a marker of iron stores in the body; low levels can cause fatigue, hair thinning, and poor concentration.
  • Thyroid screen (TSH, T4) – to check thyroid function, as an underactive or overactive thyroid can mimic menopausal symptoms.
  • Estradiol (E2) – your main form of oestrogen; low levels are associated with perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
  • Vitamin B12 – low levels can affect mood, energy, memory, and nerve function.
  • Testosterone – an important female hormone that may affect libido, energy, mood, and muscle strength.

General Blood Test (Pathway 5)

Feeling Unwell or Fatigued? We Can Help Identify the Cause

If you’re feeling generally unwell, tired, or lacking in energy, our General Blood Test Panel is designed to help uncover potential underlying issues. This test is ideal for ruling out common deficiencies or imbalances that may be contributing to your symptoms.

Tests Included:

  • Vitamin D – to assess for deficiency, which may cause fatigue, low mood, muscle weakness, and affect bone health.
  • Ferritin (Iron Stores) – measures your body’s iron levels. Low ferritin can lead to fatigue, hair thinning, poor concentration, and breathlessness.
  • Thyroid Function (TSH & T4) – evaluates how well your thyroid is working. Both underactive and overactive thyroid issues can mimic menopause or cause similar symptoms like mood swings, weight changes, and fatigue.
  • Vitamin B12 – checks for deficiency, which can impact memory, energy levels, mood, and nerve function.
